About the event
S/He: Was I Loved?
A contemporary dance solo by Steve Goh exploring love, memory, identity, and the traces relationships leave within us.
Developed through Practice as Research (PaR), S/He unfolds as an intimate dialogue between presence and memory. Through movement, sensation, repetition, and embodied reflection, the work navigates the fragile boundaries between care and loss, connection and distance, tenderness and betrayal.
At the heart of the performance lies a simple yet profound question:
Was I loved—or did I learn to survive what felt like love?
Rather than offering answers, S/He invites audiences into a contemplative encounter with vulnerability, resilience, and the ways our bodies continue to carry memories long after relationships have changed or disappeared.
