• To deepen dance training while exploring diverse genres and styles.
• To provide participants with the opportunity to experience difference — discovering how each style shapes movement, discipline, and expression.
• To encourage commitment and consistency in learning, while still welcoming those who wish to join for selected weeks.

📌 Choreography Guidelines
• Each week adds new layers to the showcase piece(s).
• Missing one or two sessions is manageable, but participants must catch up with the set material.
• Drop-in dancers are welcome, but only those who commit to the full 12+1 weeks will be able to perform in the final showcase.

Since both sessions require much brain power to remember and recall moments (of much distant past), refreshments will be provided to keep the brain nourished.

📅 Date: 1st December, Sunday
⏰ Time: 2pm - 4:30pm
📝 This session will be a guided journaling session. All prompts and journal print outs will be provided. Participants only have to bring their phone with their calendar/photo album, which will help them to look at photos/schedule to reflect on the year. Participants can also bring their journal and stationaries.

🌻 Vision Boarding
📅 Date: 8th December, Sunday
⏰ Time: 2pm - 4.30pm
📝 This session will be a guided vision boarding session, where we brainstorm goals and vibes for 2025. Prompts will be provided to help everyone visualize their 2025, covering things like relationships, work, finance, health, passion, etc. The final product will be a printed A4 vision board (which we will print) that everyone can stick in their notebook or journal to reflect on in 2025. For this session, participants are asked to bring their laptop/tablet so that they can work on their vision board.

When did you first start ballet, and what made you return?
“I started ballet when I was 7 and continued until I was 18. I restarted at 36. Ballet has always been my core, but I was taught to believe that dance shouldn’t be made out of career. So I spent my 20s and 30s pursuing what I thought I ‘should’ do, instead of what I really wanted.”

How has adult ballet been for you? What challenges have you faced?
“It’s been challenging! I remember I struggled with a lot of pain—muscle aches and foot pain—and even had some injuries but have since been stabilized now after 1 year+. The progress has been tremendous. I went from barely balancing on pointe to doing some pointe work at the center.”

Lastly, what’s your dream for ballet?
“I want to become a ballet teacher who teaches with empathy, encouraging individuality rather than fitting into the traditional mold of how ballet should be. As for my own progress, I want to be able to dance freely on pointe at the center.”

We aim to create a space where once you enter, the noise from the outside world muffles out, allowing you the freedom to get connected with your mind and body. We take comfort in some of your comments, “It’s so peaceful here” & “It feels like home”.

We aim to create a space where you can share the experience with your family and friends, with our various events such as Family Dance Day and Pas De Deux.

We aim for our class to reflect the same value of slow living. Prioritising progress over perfection, quality and safety over speed.

We aim to build personal relationships with all that enters, where both parties mutually respects, care about and want to help each other. We’re thankful for all the relationships we’ve built thus far.
